Welcome to Beachside. In 1994, a group of parents seeking to provide better educational soccer opportunities for their children approached me with the idea of creating a program that would support a player’s total development, both on and off the field. Little did I know back then how much growth would take place over the years, as well as the tremendous impact and influence Beachside would have on the many players and their parents that have come through our program.
What started out as a single team in 1994 founded on Integrity has evolved into an ongoing legacy that will positively touch talented soccer players and their families for years to come. Beachside now has 11 premier boys & girls teams, a USL Men's Super-20 team, 150 players in our Juniors developmental program, alumni players scattered throughout the country and world, regional and national success, collegiate and professional success, ongoing program enhancements, and a parent support group second to none.
As the club's only coaching director since 1994, I would like all of you to know that what the club stood for in 1994 with that one team, is still what makes our program special today: Excellence, Commitment, Professionalism
As a former professional player, I feel very fortunate to be part of a club that reminds me so much of what I now realize was most important to me as a youth soccer player growing up; Soccer is the greatest teacher of life. So many of the postive self-concepts one inherits through the success and challenges experienced through training and competition remain with us for our life time.
